Carrie + Chad - Highland Park, California

Where to even begin with Carrie + Chad? Well, for starters, they are the kindest people there ever was. Planning their event included a lot of color but felt mature in the same breath which is a beautiful juxtaposition to design. It was my first ever time building a disco ball cluster to hang over the dance floor and one of Nicole’s first solo jobs with CRW. She executed with flying colors if I do say so myself! It’s hard to work in a space like Fig House because it is such a specific style that you don’t want to compete with what already exists at the venue. Your best design scenario would be to play off the jewel towns already on site and so that’s what we did…Primary Petals added pops of the orange, white, and bright pink to offset the darker teal on the walls which kept things feeling celebratory and lighthearted.
