Katie + Jeremy - Los Angeles, California

I’ll never forget this event. It was back when Carly Rae Weddings first was conceived. Though I had been doing events for a couple of years prior to this…this event was CRW’s ‘big break'. I’m laughing as I type that but it’s kind of true. I had met Katie at a networking event and had become fast friends with her. She is a photographer as well as the editor of Green Wedding Shoes. She somehow trusted my baby company to coordinate her wedding for her… This was back even when I didn’t own Primary Petals, too. Saving that story for another day. These images, this event, and the design, stand the test of time. This was back when Marivmon Productions had just one location — Marvimon. They have since shut down this venue down and opened 5 more locations throughout Los Angeles. Some similar in looks, others a little more wacky.

Katie + Jeremy designed this Blue Bayou theme so well. The Spanish moss, the clay bull heads for seating arrangements, the tumbleweeds. I feel so cool just knowing Katie. She did this design so well and the small fact that I get to put our name on it too is just like…mind blowing to me. The power of friendship, the power of saying yes to doing a adventure like entrepreneurship without prior experience really makes these pictures even more impactful. This wedding was a two part feature on Green Wedding Shoes and still to this day I love looking at them. — CRW
