Kim + Mike - Quebec City, Quebec Canada

When you start a career with no experience, you truly don’t know where it’s going to lead. If I could predict, CRW would have done a wedding in London before we would ever have an opportunity to do a wedding in Quebec. First off…can anyone off hand tell me where on a map Quebec is? If you’re stumped, don’t worry. Quebec City, Quebec (pronounced: key-beck) is Eastern Canada about 7 hours Northwest of New York City. For you Californians reading this…Quebec is East Coaster’s Mexico for destination options. In our planning, I came to fall in love with this town — It’s a fabulous place to have a wedding for a number a reasons and I will list them below:

Great destination location drivable from New York / East Coast states
Exchange Rate = More wedding for your buck
Hospitality at its finest. I have yet to meet a Canadian that wouldn’t give your their right arm to make you feel welcome
The food is to literally to DIE for
It’s a real life Beauty and The Beast location
It will wow your guests with its charm

Kim and Mike asked me to do their wedding and it was literally SUCH AN HONOR to be apart of it. Kim and Mike were based in New York City and I was based in Los Angeles and I cannot thank them enough for trusting me and my team to plan this event. I flew out in the dead of winter to meet them for a big meeting…cut to me, freezing my butt off…but learning what Russian Dressing is and craving it on all my sandwiches forever more. My trip consisted of tasting all the food for the event, we designed the table scape, met every vendor, and planned the room blocks. It was a whirlwind of a trip!

Cut to July: Nicole flew out with me for the wedding weekend and it was incredible. If you follow CRW on Instagram, you’ve probably virtually met Nicole and followed along on our travels to Paris/London that same year for our 30th birthdays! This event was such a milestone for the company and really showcased what we can do mobile and without being local all the time. I have a special place in my heart for this wedding, these people, and this town. I am forever grateful for this opportunity that have opened many many doors since. - CRW
