Erica + Mike - Long Beach, California

When I think about Erica and Mike’s wedding the first word that comes to mind is: FUN. I had a pleasure of working with them while they were living in Washington DC and with demanding jobs, they would fly out to California a couple of times and we would do a marathon of meetings to finalize the planning. I was particularly excited when Erica and I’s favorite colors (mine at the time) were the same; black and wine. It was moody and modern and even a little DIY(y). Our team created the gold and black diamond window garland out of SNOW CONE holders and did a seating chart that was interactive and essentially mimicked from Jesi Haack Design. (thanks, Jesi!) I played off the string art with the HELLO sign to make it more ‘our” own.

Let’s not forget Erica + Mike’s love for “kid food!” Tacos, Pizza, and wash it down with a pop tart bar and churros! My kind of night. This event truly played all the notes that accommodate parents paying the bill AND personalizing to the couple’s desires. A win-win in my book. - CRW
